Stop central and local government buildings having multi-language signage displayed

This is the United Kingdom in which the mother-tongue is English. In foreign counties, eg, France, everything in government buildings is in French only. If someone does not read or speak French then they have to employ a translator or interpretor at their own expense. The State does not pay for it. We should adopt the same model. The cost of interpretors and translators to the tax-payer is quite significant and if illegals, residents, etc are not prepared to learn our language then that is their failing NOT the tax-payers'.
